Rootspersona Tree

The default WordPress themes display all first level pages by default. When importing a GEDCOM file, hundreds of pages can be created, all first level pages. The intent of assigning a Parent Page is to push persona pages down to a second level, allowing an admin to manage the display of those pages.

All individuals on the Gedcom installed here will appear within pages, rather than blog posts.  The blog posts will be strictly for articles.  Within pages, you may add photos or submit a note to us as a correction if you wish, but without permissions, you can not make specific changes yourself.

So, what you really want to do, in order to view the vast number of pages and individuals therein, is to go to the Person Index and scan the individuals there.  This particular site is primarily a “directs” page, so there will be fewer extraneous pages for cousins.

What we encourage you to do, if YOU are a cousin, is to find the common ancestor, and submit to us your tree and an article about your connections.  If you have a special individual or multiple articles you want to submit, even better!  That is what will make this website stronger.

When in doubt, always email us or contact us on Facebook (assuming there still IS a Facebook when you want to chat with us).  If, at some point in the future there is a better way of doing this, we may change things around.  For now, however, this works quite well.
